It's hard out here for a girl trying to speak Spanish ... in Spain
No ad. No bait. Just a real girl sharing her real experiences.

There was a lot of complaints about tourists not learning the language of the country they visit. Its surprising they spoke English to her
She ain’t fooling anyone acting like she can’t speak English.

I expected the waiter to say, I don't speak Spanish let's go
He can tell Spanish isn't your first language but keep it up. Good for u.
Lmao she thinks she doesn't have an obvious accent? Just because she doesn't pronounce H in "hola" like in English?
She is shaming innocent bystanders in foreign countries for social media content. She is making service workers apologize (last 30s of this video) by lying to them about her place of origin. It’s wild anyone is defending this bullshit.
It’s disgusting to use people in countries you travel to as props in your social media videos, especially if the basis is false offense about how they perceive your (false) native language accent.
It’s pure rage bait, and rage bait is disgusting.
It’s an accent thing, I have the same problem as a white dude second language speaker from the US (with Spanish family and look Spanish as fuck). “Are you sure you want to speak Spanish?”
If she were Afrolatina, even from Brazil, nobody would try to switch. I have seen that in Spain many times.
This happens to me all the time in Paris. Who cares? Go to a tourist town, be a tourist, you’ll be treated as such.
They speak Catalan in Barcelona. The locals probably prefer to speak English before they speak Spanish (Castilian).
This wasn't an isolated event, either. Another example ...
[And yes, after a year of living in Barcelona and posting her experiences there, she eventually became a spokesperson for a Spanish-learning app. BUT, she says these interactions are real.]
