Why not? It looks like they all enjoyed it.

My daughter and son-in-law had their two surviving grandmothers be the witnesses at their ceremony. It was a great idea!

There isn’t a a single day I don’t Miss my grandmothers, so this got me 😢 what a way to honor them for being the special human beings they clearly are

Well that's gorgeous. I love everything about this. I wish their grandchildren a long and happy marriage with this kind of spirit!

I had my great aunt Susie (not biological) be the flower nana at my wedding.

She was in a relationship with my biological aunt, and came into our family for life. She played an active roll in raising ten of us, being the touch stone of our whole family. She cradled us when we were sick and loved us from the time we were all born, through my mom's generation and my own. When my biological aunt died, Susie carried on for over 20 years without her lifelong partner, still giving to us selflessly. She was the most amazing woman I ever knew, there truly wasn't a crooked bone in her body. She was our great matriarch and passed away in 2023 at 83 years old.

The world was never good enough for you, Susie 🥺
