Doing better on Instagram?

I recently started posting comedy content on TikTok (about a week ago), and while a few of these videos have made decent views, and the likes-to-views ratio is always pretty good, most of my videos tend to flop horribly. A lot of them struggle to even reach 100 views.

On the other hand, I also post my videos on Instagram, and they tend to do much better there. A few of them have even reached over 1000 views (which isn’t gigantic, but pretty good, considering I’m just getting started).

I should mention that I’m from a non-English speaking country, but my content is aimed at an international audience (it’s in English). Has anyone experienced this? and what could be the cause?
