Woman shares her experience growing up with "strict parents."
Some people should not have children.
Some people should not have children.
I had strict parents. She had abusive parents.
At this point, it's not a parent but a prison officer
Child abuse has many forms, this is one
Absolute insane rules and I feel bad for this poor woman. I'm sure she's paid the mortgage on a lakehouse for her therapist based on the number of sessions it would take to unwind that.
I hope she owns that kitchen she's in and is living a happy healthy life. Fuck those parents.
That’s abuse sis
Nasty fuckers.
Ima give my 7 year old son an irresponsible amount of treats in response to seeing this.
Yeah, that's not "strict" that's child abuse. Wtf is wrong with people. I hope she went to therapy when she got away from her insane parents.
As an Utah Mormon with strict parents, I can honestly relate to most of these. My dad gave me a punishment once that for every swear word in that conversation I used I would be locked away in our laundry room for 2 hours. Needless to say my oppositional defiance disorder kicked in and I spent 3 weeks in the laundry room. Only being allowed out to pee under strict supervision.
I think this is a little more than just "strict parenting".
