Algorithm Change on July 7th?

Hi! I’m a content creator on the platform and typically receive around 50,000-1million views on each post (I post every day, same content, asmr style) and since July 7, all of my content has dipped SIGNIFICANTLY. Down at least 70% on each metric. It seems it’s not being pushed to FYP although my account seems to be in good standing. I’ve never gotten below 600 likes on a post and I’m not struggling to get to 250 this week…I regularly get above 25k likes per post.

I genuinely don’t know what’s going on? I still get ~5 comments and multiple saves in the first 10 mins or so, and then after that it just kind of stops serving my content. Wouldn’t the likes/ saves/ follows indicate they should continue serving it on Fyp?

Are any other creators experiencing this? Not sure what to do…

Yep, been happening to me since mid June. I’d recommend submitting a ticket… hopefully if enough of us do they might change something. Threaten to move to Instagram. This is what they said back to mine..

While not on your scale (I have about 7500 followers) I’m used to my videos performing at a baseline of about 5K-10K views in the first 12 hours with 1K likes. Since early July my views and likes have been cut in half after 12 hours. Except for one video that got 20K views in 12 hours. Now, I’ve been posting the same type of content since February.. I know what to expect. My content is very niche and I get at least 100 comments on every post so I get good engagement. I post every day around the same time and my edits are 8-10 seconds long, with a good hook. So I would agree that the algorithm shifted in early July. There was just an app update today so maybe that will fix it? Good luck!
