Just here to rant about TikTok too

So annoyed with TikTok and ready to throw in the towel. I used to get 60k+ views on some videos, stopped posting for a bit and now for the last few months I've not even been breaking 200 views. I spend hours making content, and I don't even wanna be online to be honest, I just want to be writing my books!! But without social media, I can't sell them.

Also, my analytics aren't making ANY sense. Supposedly it's the retention rate that gets your video pushed out further, right? Well one of my latest videos has an 89% retention rate, and it's been stuck at 112 views for the past 2 days. So why isn't that being pushed out?

Sick of it. Sick of thinking about it. Sick of pouring my energy into it. Just sick of it 🤣

Post on YouTube and Instagram. Yeah sure YouTube algorithm is kinda ass, shows you same videos, less communication with people in the comments, different humor, but it still works unlike tiktok. There is guarantee I will get 1k views on YouTube

Happening to me too! Try to use Reels (ig) or Shorts. Most of my vids are above 2-3k on that socials and barely 100 views on tiktok, tiktok is fucked and destroyed at all.

Same here, my videos simply aren’t being shown on the FYP. I logged a ticket with Tiktok (3 times) showing screenshots. They said my account was in fact restricted and I should appeal it, even though on my side it showed no restrictions and there was nothing to appeal. I just kept going in circles with their stupid ai responses. After a few days they just say they can’t help me and close the ticket.

I have given up, I don’t know what to do anymore. Everything was going well on my page until June this year. My views dropped drastically overnight.
