I F25 am a SAHM my husband works 2 jobs and we are in a lot of debt from his former business partner screwing us over. I’ve joked about doing social media for a long time and I’m finally at a place where I’m dedicated to being able to post reels every single day. I don’t know what I’m doing or where to post or how to make money and I’m looking for advice.. I want to be able to secretly pay off all of our debt, I want to understand how the pay works and where is the best place to post. TIA

Edit: my posts would be initially talking about the debt and paying it to 0 and talking about new spending habits then probably mom relatable content

There’s no magic course that’ll teach you what you need to know. Just start making content and posting. It takes a lot of trial and error and a ton of persistence to even make $10 on social media.

TikTok has a creator fund and TikTok shop. The creator fund you have to have 10k followers and videos over 1 minute are eligible but greatly differs on how much you make. I have several in the millions and the most I’ve made from a video is like $400. TikTok shop becomes available between 1k-5k followers (a lot of people will say you get in at 1k but I didn’t until almost 5k, it varies for sure). You can sell items you have and make a portion back, but it’s super super oversaturated and I think the appeal is dying out.

IG doesn’t have monetization like TT, only occasional programs that you have to be invited for. I have 250k followers and have never been invited.

Facebook has a pretty decent monitization that requires an invite but it’s easier to get invited to, there’s no real minimum as far as I know, it’s more random who gets n invite. I have 73k followers there and average about $300 a month with 10 million average views, so it’s nice but it’s not like insane money.

Tik tok and YT are King but dont sleep on IG too. The secret is consistency not a secret course or information. The more you put out daily, the better u get, the more the algorithm recommends you and once you hit the required numbers then monetization is inevitable

Daily if not daily posting. Learn to edit well. Script yourself enough you stay on point but not so much you sound stiff.

Pick your channel name and lock it down on all platforms. Start following similar channels. Block out your posts for a month in advance. Always have things ready to post (a hopper) in case life interrupts and you can keep posting on time.

Your topic is one people are interested in. You can approach your channel from the angle of watch this SAHM get her family out of debt. Frugal cooking, cheap travel entertainment ideas, side hustle, repair reuse. Doing things like learn with me - today let’s bake bread together (tutorial, recipe and cost it out), AMA etc

Steer clear of hot topics - you don’t want to alienate any potential audience. Ignore the haters and creeps. Don’t show your kids faces or film anything/anywhere that could reveal your address.

At first make sure you’re engaging with anyone leaving a comment. Builds loyal followers. If you make things or sell things always have a link where they can buy.

It’s a lot of hustle but can be done.

Any people that runs 100 to 10k followers pages (any social media)?

Hey all, I own a business that involves many clients that promote their product, art or website with TikTok (also Instagram, Youtube and Facebook). I want to offer them a way to post their content, or to get content created and posted for them on existing TikTok pages. Basically you got pages in a specific theme (sport, anime, cinema, culture, memes...) and you rent it for a specific period of time. You get paid every month, and all you have to do is basically connecting the account once to our system. You can opt-out anytime you want, you keep the full ownership of the account. That's basically a way to monetize your pages passively. For now I'm doing it myself with my own pages (3 tiktok pages with 500 to 3k followers, and 1 6k subscribers Youtube channel), I made around $800 renting these for less than a month.
