"Can't avoid it? Aren't we the one's building it?"
God I dislike this new trend of stopping subtitles at the very end of the clip to force the user to open and listen to it. It's 5 am - I like my silence.
Tho, amazing ending.
"So what, like an animated movie?" I'm so happy someone can finally say that. I'm so sick of these AI users in filmmaking spaces.
Animation is interesting because it's animated intentionally, acting is interesting because it was thought by someone and acted out. If you cut all the corners in the world you can also make $1K full movie that no-one will care to watch because it will suck.
The waste in modern Hollywood movie production is not money going to VFX artists (not even unionized) and writers (average writer makes 10K a year) or even celebrity actors. There are examples of big movies that cost a fraction of what Hollywood spends, like Godzila minus one, or Flow (2024) the animated feature with a budget of 3.5M that won an Oscar.
They waste insane amount of money on making and re-making things over and over again and second guessing every decision in production and splitting the production among 10 different teams and 20 vfx studios and so on.
Goose suit, it’s an old circus term
The credits will atleast be quick
The choice of having instruments tuning in as background noise to convey the chaos if this situation. Nice touch 👌

Nice short. This sums of the situation quite well. And both perspectives are correct. AI won’t slow down, and people will still demand authenticity. That authenticity, like everything in life, will come at a premium. I wouldn’t be surprised if box office sales skyrocket in 5-10 years. Same with concerts, and live music.
Eh, enough with movies. Too much complaining around the medium. Holodeck is where it’s at. Bring it, AI.
Hol up! Let him cook!
