"The worst thing about this" isn't the fact that we weren't consulted. It's the fact that a stunning percentage of us will be perfectly fine with this sort of thing. I mean, "Why worry if you didn't do anything wrong?" was the *second* comment on this post . . .
Wow so we can barely get state to state cooperation for SA victims but they’ll open their doors wide for unconstitutional AI surveillance. Cool, cool, cool…….
Cop kills unarmed civilian: Suspended with pay
Cop calls out overreach: Suspended without pay
Un alive citizens as an officer= paid leave

Not all heroes wear capes
Protect this man. This was legit whistleblowing
I just finished three 27hr books on Robert moses the power broker and self ordained master planner/evil genius of NYC. They would start building stuff claiming eminent domain before due process or lawsuits could begin because they could tie things up in court, buy judges, and they knew tax payers would see it as a waste to revert the changes and allow the building or park to stay once completed and they would eventually forgive and forget the thousands of misplaced families put out on the streets. Using the same playbook, they are Like welp, oops we implemented big brother before having it vetted, looks like it’s too widespread to stop it now.
Suspension WITHOUT PAY…Jesus ok killers get “with pay” but obviously this is much much worse 🙄
I’d vote for this person.
His message is sound except there's one thing I disagree with: holding them accountable. I think these people should always be held accountable, it's a smart idea to narrow the scope however at the same time I don't think you should just let them get away with it if you can help it. Don't just accept the fact that you have idiots governing for you and ruling the roost.
