Tiktok search not showing what I search (non-inappropriate stuff)

When I search on my phone eg gothic makeup it wouldn’t show gothic makeup, instead it shows white girl makeup tutorials but when I search on my ipad it shows exactly what I want. How do I fix this on my phone?? Plus I been getting a lot of ads for no reason like thirstraps or motorbike ads of normal tiktok but it has under 1k likes with an ad on the bottom
