Genuinely what’s up with my notifications?

For the entire time I’ve had TikTok on my phone that’s going on 3 years at this point, no matter what I’ve done I have never received one notification from TikTok, every notification setting is enabled on the app and my phone, 🚫 and reinstalled etc etc. and it’s really annoying not seeing when my friends message me. Is there any sorta fix?
