How do I stop flopping as an editor?

I’m an editor and I’ve had my account for 2 and a half years, though I started really focusing on it and growing it a year and a half ago when my videos started getting a lot of attention.

Unfortunately, for roughly 7 months or so I hadn’t been posting as regularly and irregularly because of school and such, so I figured that was the reason I was flopping. But then I regained my motivation and started posting more consistently but I’m still not making any improvements.

For context, I have 39k, almost 40k followers and even that number has been stagnant at 39.8k for a few months (while I was posting somewhat regularly) and now it has slowly started to deteriorate. My videos get 150-300 likes on average, some reach 1-2k and I think that is very illogical for the number of followers I have.

I wanna know if I’m doing something wrong or if I have to just go through it until it passes.
