Tiktok won't let me upload videos

I'm sure there's plenty of posts with this exact problem, but I've tried several things and nothing is working. I've been trying to upload videos from my pc, and it'll let me fill out the details and hit post, but when I get back to my posts screen, I get a 'video published' notification but the video is nowhere to be found, as if I never uploaded it. I've already uploaded 2 videos and gained a couple followers, and am trying to grow an identity as a small electronic artist and this is frustrating.
