Motherhood & lifestyle content creator, lifestyle doesn’t get pushed out

I have a feeling I know the answer to this, but I’m going to ask anyways. I am a motherhood and lifestyle content creator. I’m fairly new to the game so I don’t really have many followers. I’ve had a few viral videos regarding motherhood however, the videos I make that relate to lifestyle such as skincare or me making a meal, etc. I get less than 100 views, is this because I only have warmed up my account with motherhood videos and not lifestyle? I’m confused how it all works

lifestyle is just so over saturated you have to make it extremely unique otherwise it gets lost in a sea of everyone else doing their skincare

I skip that content every time. There’s so damn much of it.

Hm i feel this struggle hard as a creator who's tried multiple niches

the algorithm definitely favors consistency in your early content. when you start with mom content and then jump to lifestyle, it takes time for tiktok to retrain who to show your videos to

what actually worked for me was creating hybrid content that bridges the two, like mom skincare routines or quick meals for busy parents. this keeps your core audience engaged while testing new topics

you could also try making lifestyle content but filming it in your mom context, like "5 minute makeup while toddler naps" or "easy dinner with kids helping." same lifestyle topic, different framing that ties back to your established niche

been using this thing called Hoox lately, it posts daily on TikTok and Instagram for virality, daily SEO articles, YouTube videos for AI search rankings, and monitors Reddit and X 24/7 to find conversations. all of it compounds together to get organic traffic automatically https://tryhoox.com

what's your current posting schedule like? are you batching content or making videos day by day?
