I feel like you need to be in the medical field to understand this joke/skit.

Someone needs to do this from a vet tech POV. Cause yall..we got stories for days!

Episode One: Client believes dog ate something bad. Induce vomiting, return lacy thong to male owner while refusing to make eye contact. Keep dog away from laundry, he’s a panty snatcher.

Episode Two: Client worried dog is lethargic, drunk walking and drooling everywhere. Tell Doctor he has to explain to clients their college kid home for spring break needs to hide his stash better, your dog is a pot head.

Episode Three: Client brings in cat concerned that cat is suddenly avoiding them and not using the litterbox. Test, scans and bloodwork done. Diagnosis; cats mad at owner for leaving her for 2 weeks to go on honeymoon and this is her punishment. Cats hold expensive grudges.

Can't imagine what that felt like.

Tachy. Very, very tachy. I've had exactly one episode of Afib, at 188 bpm, and had to have my heart re-started, and this would be... so much worse. Dying seems completely reasonable; pissing your pants would be a given.

I had a nurse give me an IM epi dose through my IV.

I went into a lethal arrhythmia known as V-tach; all of my muscles became violently tremulous, appearing seizure-like; my EKG showed acute demand ischemia; and, my blood pressure tanked into the low 80s for several hours after the med wore off.

10/10 would not recommend, unless you need re-alived.

Can anyone familiar with EMS explain please? Is syringe injecting epinephrine uncommon? Almost never done? Common but still wild? I’m trying to understand the joke
