Unjustified view drop and broken distribution 💀
I make videos that historically easily pulled hundreds of thousands of views (and quite a bit more). My editing is tight and my analytics have always been solid.
The problem is that over the last few months, I've been experiencing a totally unjustified drop in views.
The ironic (and frustrating) part is that in the last two weeks, despite posting very little, I've received 5 sponsored post offers from brands. This means the profile is still attractive in the eyes of companies, it has value, and the target audience is definitely there.
Despite this, growth is completely frozen because the distribution is totally fucked.
I've been noticing the exact same pattern other users on this sub have been talking about lately: the video starts off great, gets a ton of views in the first hour (giving you false hope that it's blowing up), and then suddenly flatlines, as if someone just pulled the plug.
Is this happening to any of you lately?
