why is everyone young, beautiful and successful?

Sorry. This is an incredibly gullible and short sighted take, and you’ve fallen for the content creator ruse.

You see maybe 2% of these people’s lives. They ONLY show you the good parts. Their “pretty friends” are very often just other content creators that they film with to give you that perception. Also, most all of these people are using filters, ring lights etc. I used to work for a company that manages some of these people, and it’s ALL bullshit.

You see them in a private jet? Yeah, a lot of those are sets. You can rent them by the hour. Same with their big lavish homes. Ever wondered why many of their houses look the same? It’s because they are. They’re rented as a set for the day. They’ll block shoot 20 videos in a session and slowly upload them as if it’s all happening in real time.

Cars? Rented. Clothing? Rented. Designer bags? Rented. Its absolutely wild

One word: filters.

Sometimes it's a matter of makeup and filters. Often it is real, attractive people doing vlogs and such, succeeding with social media.

Social media has different genre though. One doesn't need to be attractive to be a gamer, artist, doing something in videos irrelevant to looks.

But for vlogs, attractiveness is part of it because people are watching the person most of the time presenting things in public like a presenter sort of like game shows where a lovely person presents showcases... that's very similar so aesthetics obviously play a large role in that.
