Tiktok FYP fix/reset July 30, 2026 that actually works

If anyone else here going through the same weird tiktok bs right now, being force fed content you never interacted with before, blocked, or aimed at a completely different demographic than you because your fyp is being broken as hell, just do this:

1. go download a vpn app real quick

2. pick a country not your own (I chose Canada using proton vpn)

3. close your tiktok app

4. open it, refresh your feed

and everything should be back to your normal curated page again!

I just did this right now, let me know if it works for others too since this has been frustrating as hell. I think tiktok is intentionally messing up people's for you pages in certain countries, mine included.
