I was having almost this same conversation with my partner this morning.
This looks like the grey version of Jon from Jon breaks bad news.
The reason pharma ceos would buy a new yacht if housing was a medication is because they would bottle it and sell it at insane prices that are funded by for profit health insurance companies, which would then turn around and raise everyone's premiums and raise the cost of health care.
He's 100% right, from a public health standpoint we should be pushing hard to ensure people have access to housing. The current housing market is doing exactly what he's analogy to big pharma would do though lol, controlling supply and charging an insane amount of money for access to the thing (housing instead of medicine). Not really sure what his point was with that
