I personally use Reddit and like it because there isn't a ton of commercialization like Meta.

We've built a social app that has about 300,000 users so far. It fixes everything wrong with social media (algorithms, privacy, monetization, growth, etc.) so I want to get the word out.

Even though the platform is free and could help a lot of people, I don't want to be that annoying person on Reddit promoting their business.

Has any social media marketers found a way to successfully grow a business on Reddit without looking like you're promoting?

Honestly, the best play is to stop thinking about "promotion" and just be useful in the subs your target users actually hang out in. Answer questions, share your perspective, never link your app unless someone asks. After a few months of that, people will naturally ask what you're building. Slower, but it actually builds trust instead of burning it.

Basically you got pages in a specific theme (sport, anime, cinema, culture, memes...) and you rent it for a specific period of time.
