I mean the idea that all artists are horrible people is a bit of a stretch but ok

People being mad in the comments is funny.

Literally every artist has something problematic in their existence. As do we all.

Separation of the art from the artist is base line for enjoying other’s creative works.

The worst people I know are also the most adamant that they are good people.

Maybe before the streaming age. Now, every click, stream, visit, or purchase generates revenue for the shitty people. Let them feel the hurt in their wallets for being pieces of shit.

Doubt

Absolutes in arguments like this is just silly. “Every artist is a monster!”

Are some famous artists monsters? 100%! But some artists are genuinely good hearted people passionate about expression and the work they do.

Are some lawyers, MBA graduates, tech bros, or politicians monsters? …you betcha.

Maybe, just maybe, it’s the fame and money that corrupts and enables 🤔
