Restarting videos

Is there any way to stop tiktok from restarting videos when I move away to a relayed video? Before, I used to be able to go on the blue search words or go through a persons profile and the original tiktok I was watching would pick up where i left off by the time i got back to the fyp.

Now, the moment i look at something else it restarts the video when I get back and it's really frustrating.

Anyone know how to fix this?
