These computers came out in 5 different colors. It was part of a more image focused design turn that allowed apple to capture market share at a time when there was a real price war to the bottom to capture entry level users. This model is in design museums.

IMac's were just PEAK computer design. I hated using them but they were just gorgeous.

We had those at my school. They were fun! (I was and still am a teacher at the school, not a student.)
