Tiktok ruining video quality

On the left is my video after uploading to TikTok, and on the right is the exported video.

I know that TikTok does, and has to, compress videos, but how do other people have much higher-quality looking videos? I rarely ever see other videos on TikTok so heavily compressed.
I've tried loads of different export settings on Davinci Resolve, super high bitrate, super low bitrate, different file formats... but it always looks so bad on TikTok.
