I have been there for a long stint and did both walking about and vehicle observation. At one point, during sunset we were in the vehicle with at least 20 lions surrounding us. In the distance there were other males growling and talking. The whole pride did this roar thing like they were in a cult. It was a bit unnerving to say the least. Our guide was making gin and tonics and was not concerned. Oy.

If you undercook chicken, the lion will kill you. If overcook fish the lion will kill you. Overcook/undercook? Kill right away, right away!

I always say, “warnings are warnings for a reason” and I’m saying it here. He learned to just tell people plainly that they will die because he’s taken people out there and they thought he was lying or they thought he was exaggerating and they almost died.

First time I’ve seen a sign saying no sitting on the roof, not something I would have thought needed saying really but I suppose it’s always best to cover all bases 🤣
