How do men manage day to day?

College Days be like this in an offcampus party house.

Found a half watermelon that was thrown up into our gutters from a day drink that brought so many fucking yellow jackets and we couldn't figure out why for like a week. Had to climb my ass up there a collander on my face and sweatpants/sweatshirt with the hoodie tied over the top. Surprisingly no stings!

Being a stay at home dad to a son, my observation is that many, many mothers act as though their sons are either:

gods gift to earth

or

incapable of doing anything for themselves

Dads are usually out of the parenting picture, so not trying to excuse their own variety of neglect, but moms truly enable the shit out of their boys, and we don’t call it out enough. Like especially amongst white families I see mostly moms acting like abused girlfriends towards their sons, it’s unnerving. They act like their boys are just forces of nature and can’t help themselves (meanwhile they correct the shit out of their daughters selfish behaviors). They don’t set boundaries, and often excuse truly insane behaviors in their sons.

‘Mother knows best’ and ‘boys will be boys’ are more connected than anyone wants to admit.

i mean, it's ridiculous how many young men never get taught any useful household skills at home.

but on the other hand, the first forgotten fruit/veggie is kind of a rite of passage after moving out, lol. they will learn.

I impressed that he’s wearing gloves and said that he was actually cleaning the dripping juice. Overall, the place looks pretty clean. He just couldn’t see the rotting pumpkin. But his roommate Jay, F that dude.

These dudes apartment is too nice for them being this young. They look like they might be in college. That pumpkin is just trying to create what should be everybody’s first department experience, disgusting decrepit, bug infested roaches maybe a bathtub is partially fallen through the floor.

My father would not let my mother see my first college apartment and years later when I looked at a photo of it I understood why. Everyone’s first apartment should be this way that pumpkin was just trying to do God’s work.
