Should I start a new TikTok account or use my old one with 300 followers

I recently decided I want to start posting on TikTok. I used to go live and play warzone on my personal account and gained about 300 or so followers from it. However I stopped going live about a year ago but i’ve still kept those followers.

The main thing that has stopped me from posting content is knowing that family and friends already have this account or have already followed me. I feel shy about them seeing my content and finding it cringe, so I made a second account where I can block them with the idea in mind that I could post without worrying they would see it.

Now I’m wondering if I should just say screw it and use my existing account with the 300 followers, or start completely over with the new account.

The part I’m unsure about is whether those 300 followers are actually useful at all. They originally followed me because I was playing warzone but the content I’m planning to post has nothing to do with gaming. What would you do?
