I genuinely got a job like this in 2010. I was made redundant after 30+ years in first newspaper, and then the computer side of Newspapers when it first started. Could not get a job as I was too old, being nearly 50. I did an aged care course at a training place, saw the boss emptying bins and said, "If you need someone to do that" Ended up being a cleaner, IT guy, part-time trainer and running a Work for the Dole scheme for them, all at the same time while doing disability support as well.
