how it feels trying to make plans as an adult

The number of times I've sat there with all my male friends complaining about being socially isolated, how work and family means they never get to see anyone, and then enthusiastically declare that plans should be made, that the plans are a really good idea, and that they can't wait for the plan; only to flake on the day, pull out two days before, come up with an excuse, it's ridiculous. At some point people being lonely and fucking socially isolated is their own damn fault.

I tell everyone now I need a minimum of 24hrs notice. If I'm spending time with other humans voluntarily, I need to mentally prepare.
