Why is tiktok asking me to verify my login?

I undownloaded tiktok as a way to do a social media cleanse and now im trying to log back in (i know my password) but tiktok is asking me to verify that it is really me with a code sent to my old number that i dont have access to. I tried to contact tiktok but they keep sending me the same bot email. Does anyone know what to do?
