Looking for honest feedback on a TikTok niche I’m trying to build

I’m trying to take my TikTok a little more seriously and would really love some honest feedback from people who enjoy this kind of content.

I’m also hoping to eventually connect it with my Etsy store, which is more music-focused; basically a collection of music I genuinely love and want to share. At the moment, my TikTok is kind of bringing those two worlds together, and I feel like I’m finally starting to figure out what my niche might actually be.

The direction I’m naturally gravitating towards is escapism and nostalgia, so beautiful landscapes and places from my travels, paired with nostalgic/atmospheric music, with a few lines of writing or thoughts over the top. Sometimes they’re relatable, sometimes a little reflective, sometimes just something that fits the feeling of the place or song.

I’m really drawn to the idea of creating something that makes people stop scrolling for a moment and feel like they’ve escaped somewhere, even if it’s only for 15 seconds.

I’m curious whether this sounds like a concept that could genuinely work, or whether it’s too broad / already oversaturated. I’d especially love feedback from anyone who creates content, has grown a TikTok, or just watches this kind of content themselves.

I’d genuinely appreciate any constructive feedback, even if you think there are things I should change! My account is sonhostyle :)

oh the travel+music thing can work but "atmospheric travel" alone is kinda broad ngl

id pick one lane first like one city type or one era of music or one visual motif and just run that format for like 15-20 posts before expanding. otherwise people dont know what theyre following

also the first 1s needs an actual hook not just vibes. place name on screen or a sound people recognize. if it opens soft they swipe

etsylink soft in the caption or a pin is fine, hard selling product every video usually tanks retention tbh

and cadence beats perfection. 1/day of the same template > waiting for a perfect one that might blow up
