You could find plenty of footage of Pigs, cows and sheep roaming outside in a beautiful scene and great weather, and footage of cats and dogs in cages too. Not that I don't feel bad for these animals, but this is just manipulative editing.

I mean, food shouldn’t be for profit. Healthcare shouldn’t be for profit. Housing shouldn’t be for profit. Education shouldn’t be for profit.

The meat industry is over filled, even leatherworkers have too much cow hide. So much waste its terrible. Also they don't need to live in this much squalor

Generally people here feel personally responsible for factory conditions and either get super edgy about it and say they love suffering or say go fully vegan like it makes any measurable difference in animal cruelty at scale. Factory farming is a systemic failure not a personal one, to me it’s as silly as telling someone that they need to recycle their glass to prevent global warming while motherfuckers open coal plants and fly private jets.

Eating meat isnt instantly morally right or wrong but animals living tortured existences is fucked. Meat prices will also get absolutely pumped to shit if we change something serious so the answer to this doesn’t lie in capitalism and is fundamentally hard to address. Factory farming is at a cross road of making good profit and providing something many feel is necessary so it’s gonna Be disturbingly slow to be addressed.
