Most Asian families are like that. My chinese friend got disowned by his parents because he was a mistake to them because he didn't get the grades they expected and one time he got kicked outside and sleep on the outside that was 8 years ago he told me. Asian families expect a lot from their children, being raised in a South East Asian country, my family isn't as strict as others.
