Question for Europeans who have traveled to America

Yes, it is unnerving
When they first introduced the pay at the table devices in the U.S. I was so happy. Not because I was overly concerned of them doing nefarious shit with my card out of sight, but over the fact it just took so goddamn long to get it back.
It’s absolutely batshit crazy. I can’t believe it’s how it is there. It’s so open to abuse.
Hell, I'm American and it makes me uncomfortable
Stop asking the same question twenty times in this video? God the amount of adhd in the us is insane
I never had that happen, but another thing that confused me is that I pay e.g $10 at the table, then I get a notification saying they've changed the amount to $13. Like, you can just do that without even checking with me!?
Yes! Looks like they are going to clone the card or something
Oh yes, when I was traveling a waiter in took my creditcard to the back and tried to pay for the meal. I had to accept the transaction with my bank app tho 😅
Im not gonna give you my card. All the data printrd on the card can be used to drain that card
Takes it away? I had no idea. Hell nah what if they have a skimmer in there or something
