Why are there so many of these Thai dance lives on tik tok?

Not long ago I was scrolling through my feed when a video of these Thai young men dancing when they got gifts sent to them. Later on they do this kind of battle thing where they beg for gifts so they don’t get sent home. These lives seems to go on for hours I’m sure I’ve seen them live on the same day but hours apart and also seem to be live at least a five times a week.
There also is multiple of these accounts with both young men and woman who do the same thing. All the accounts start with XD so they’re either run by the same people or theres copy cat accounts.

These guys even have fan accounts!

I’m guessing these kind of lives rely on some kind of parasocial relationship?

Do these people get paid when people send them gifts? Is this some kind of influencer opportunity?
