This is Libby Maljian, I had him for Calc 1 and Astronomy and he is genuinely very funny and a great teacher, but his knowledge is so incredibly far beyond what he is asked to teach sometimes that it ends up like this when students dont give a shit.
I've seen him give some great lectures but he has zero tolerance for bullshit. The video is cut but my guess some idiot didn't take his class seriously.

How can a college even hire someone this miserable? Who can even learn in a class like this? Absolutely baffling. This professor is making students scared to make mistakes. This reminds me of Sir Ken Robinson's TED talk I saw ages ago. He spoke about the stifling nature of many schools. If you're not prepared to be wrong you're not going to come up with anything original. If this professor has students frightened to even ask a question we know no one is really learning in there. At best they're just memorizing things. I bet this school won't even fire him and that's depressing.
