That sounded somewhere between 6 months to 1.5 yrs. It's simply not possible to soothe them easily sometimes, especially if it's a growth spurt/cluster feeding issue.

The mother isn't enjoying it either. If she could stop the screaming she would have so what use is telling her to make it quiet? Maybe just think if there's anything you can do to help. At the end of the day the baby exists in the world & has every right to do baby things even if it's annoying af.

These comments made me laugh. The adults were all asleep while the nocturnal basement dwellers who don’t, and will never have kids, (or simply live out in the real world) commented on the post. Now that it’s morning (for most Reddit users), the comments will skew in the more reasonable direction.

People who think kids just need to behave at all times have never had to deal with a tantrum or understand how emotional development works, and in their ignorance they show a lack of empathy. I used to be like that.
