Lucky guy

Guy os lying for internet points. Said he made his flight, all flights were grounded. Said he knew the plane had crashed, nobody knew at that time.

My dad missed this flight because he was running late. Took the train down to NYC to catch a flight to LA from there. We couldn’t reach him all day and assumed the worst :(

He’s always extremely punctual. I don’t think he’s ever missed a flight before. Truly one of the worst days of our lives I remember it perfectly and I was about 7 years old

What a crock. So a low level employee had all this information just a few minutes after the plane crashed?? Man, she must have been using telepathy or something.

I think its pretty neat hearing how a singular event changed someone's life no matter what it is.

The times aren’t matching up here….

Flight 11 hit the trade center at 8:45. And even then it was not immediately known it was a passenger plane. American Airlines headquarters only became aware of it being flight 11 around 9:16, confusion caused Boston center to believe the plane was still airborne at 9:21. I doubt a low level AA employee would have had any confirmed information of it being flight 11 ‘around 8am’. So the timeline of this story seems off. Edit: AA operations center did get the first indication the flight was hijacked around 8:21 though

One of my uncles was doing a software update at one of the firms in lower Manhatten the night before. He says that these big updates would always take longer than expected but this time everything went smoothly.

He was able to leave on time and had just crossed the Holland Tunnel into Jersey when the news came over the radio. He saw the smoke behind him while driving across the Skyway.

The sad things of this is the opposite story.. someone got a call that a seat opened up kn flight 11..

Seth Mcfarlane was also scheduled to die that die but he was late. Incredible stories.
