Does using AI-generated audio in a Reel affect your account/reach if everything else is 100% original?
I'm a little confused about how Instagram handles AI content labels and was hoping someone here might have some experience with this.
I make my Reels myself. The video, editing, effects, etc. are all created by me without AI. However, I may sometimes use an AI-generated audio/music track in the Reel.
In that situation, is it better to mark the Reel as having AI content?
I'm wondering if adding the AI label can have any negative effect on reach or recommendations. But at the same time, I’m also wondering if not adding the label could cause problems if Instagram detects that the audio was AI-generated.
Also, if only a few Reels on an account are labeled as AI content, does Instagram eventually consider the whole account an “AI creator” or affect how the account is categorized?
Basically, I'm trying to figure out whether the label is just informational, or whether it can actually affect the Reel/account in some way.
Has anyone noticed a difference in reach or recommendations after using the label? Or has anyone had issues from not using it when AI-generated audio was involved?
Would be interested to hear actual experiences, especially from people who have tried both.
