She should be fired. Judgement this poor and a demonstrated willingness to "find a reason" to pull someone over means she can't be trusted to follow the law and can't serve as a law enforcement officer.

The requirements to be a police officer need to be exponentially higher than they are. For one, they should be expected to know all the laws of their state at a minimum.

"find a reason" and they let her back on the job. ACAB
