Uhh.... Why?

today I was scrolling TikTok and this little ad for TikTok shop appeared on my page... now my question and concern is, Who is supposed to be the target audience when this app is filled with people of all ages, INCLUDING children, and why is this product being sold on a platform that does not need age verification.

Lowk appalling.

(For context, I am a 21 year old who DOES take part in these activities, BUT my overall concern is this the ad being used in an app thats catered to "13+")

yo dude, idk if you know this but.. most mushrooms absurdly do not contain psychedelic compounds. If i were to guess, I’d guess these are the variety that do not 😁 — hope this helps

Because TikTok doesn’t care at all lol and they thrive off poor kids and teenagers getting addicted to their app. I remember thc cones being promoted and sold on the shop with no ID required. Horrible.
