Closed Captions

What happened to closed captions? I looked for that setting everywhere and it’s nowhere to be found. Mine were on a few days ago and now they’re suddenly turned off and I can’t turn them back on.

SAME, a creator I follow did a song and I couldn't make out the words. At the same time other videos that were French with baked-in eng subs would play French captions over the English one making it impossible to res
