Viewer jail and follow count? What’s the point of having followers of TikTok only shows your videos to new people?

Really sad about this does anyone know how to get shared feed with friends back it’s disappeared, i updated the app and my phone :(

my liked videos are synched hours later

hi, everynyan. this is the first time i post on reddit and it’s mostly because i haven’t seen anyone else complain about this besides one friend of mine. so for the past week or so i’ve been having this very weird issue. when i like a video, the heart turns red immediately and the video appears in my liked videos. however, if i refresh my profile, the video disappears from my likes. then, several hours later, a bunch of videos that i liked earlier in the day suddenly appear in my liked videos all at once. i hope this makes sense 😭 i mostly see it thanks to the new features in chats that tells you if you or the person you’re chatting with liked a video that was shared among you. if they send a video and i like it, it wont say “you liked a video — shared” immediately, but it will hours later after the video has been finally synched to my account. i’d also like to add that this isnt the case of tiktok temporarily removing your ability to like because you’ve been liking videos too quickly and they suspect you’re a spam. that’s what i initially thought it was and i was proved wrong. i even did a status check and everything was okay. i’ve tried everything, and i mean EVERYTHING (cleared my cache, reinstall the app, reset my phone, whatever). i reported the problem too, but i dont think it was very successful. i only know that one of my friends has been experiencing the same thing. even if no one has a solution, i just want to know if others have had the same issue too because it’s been really annoying me lol

MY FYP IS BROKEN

I’ve had my fyp in English and what I like watching for the past few months. I repost, like and watch English videos. But like 30 minutes ago my recommendations randomly switched to local videos (Azerbaijani) that I absolutely despise because my people have horrible humor and most users are 50 year olds posting about their family. I never interacted with any Azerbaijani videos in the past weeks, this happened randomly after I left my phone and then returned, my FYP was broken. I’ve tried lots of things like changing my location to the USA then changing it back, re-loginning to my tiktok account, restarting my phone, but nothing seemed to work at all.
