Hire a structural engineer and a lawyer.

They looked at it, determined it’s going to cost hundreds of thousands to fix, because the house is literally breaking into two pieces, so they call it cosmetic and hope the problem (customer) goes away.

Lennar sounds like a shit company. Not just from this video. Looking them up, it seems like their entire business is based on building overpriced, shitty quality houses and then refuse to take accountability for any faults.

I used to work for KB. Same shit.

Okay, so the bricks are not structural. That is true. They are cosmetic for the most part and bear no weight to speak of.

If you buy a Lennar, or a KB or a Beazer or any of the other bulk built houses from one of these companies then you should know you will receive the lowest price workmanship and the worst customer Svc.

I’m sorry you’re having to deal with this but, this is how they operate. Did they sod the backyard? I know there isn’t a fence.

My wife and I just recently bought a home (in June), and when we were looking at new builds in Jan we fell in love with a Lennar home. We liked the price, the look, the neighborhood, and it ticked off all the boxes both of us had.

Due to a strange twist of fate though, we ended up not going with Lennar.

For Valentines Day, I reserved two seats at this local farm that had a 3 course dinner where all the ingredients came from said farm. It was an outdoor rustic decor communal dinner. The couple that sat across the table from my wife and I were really cool and we hit it off right away. Turns out the husband was a construction contractor, and when we told him that we were looking at new builds he immediatly goes "I hope you aren't looking at Lennar homes."

My wife and I were like "wut" and he bascially spent the rest of the night talking about how Lennar cuts a lot of corners to offer low prices, and he wouldn't ever want to live in a Lennar home. The coversation spooked my wife so bad, on the drive home she just straight up says we can't go with Lennar.

I'm so glad that random stranger gave us that advice haha.
