Recording speed

The recording speed tool in the toolbar is gone. I need it to make videos. I've tried everything the dumb TT bot says, clear cache, reinstall, whatever, but the problem remains, and it's been two weeks. The latest version of the app is not available in the play store. There are certain words I can't say in the post like H E L P but please H E L P me.

are you on android? the play store version usually lags behind the galaxy store or wherever you got it originally. if the speed tool vanished after an update that's on tiktok's end and rolling back to an older apk might be the quickest fix.
