It happened one morning 2 days ago and I can pin point the min but since then 99.9% of all my FYP videos are Russian. I’ve tried clearing cache and everything but it hasn’t been fixed. TikTok support is obviously useless. I can’t possibly mark not interested when every video is Russian. Funnily enough I tried using a VPN and that seemed to fix it. I’m in London.
What is going on?
mine hasnt been in russian but i literally keep saying this, like 2-3 days ago the algorithm completely changed. im getting nonstop sports, sports edits, kalshi, sponsored content, 3 ads in a row, etc its just all absolutely awful dogshit content nothing id ever see before unless the app was down. but its been 2 full days at least of pure garbage and no one else is really talking about it.. it cant only be mine but its driving me insane i keep trying to search up things i like to help curate it again but no luck:/
Same, pure garbage for the last few days, just like when Oracle took over. It makes the app unusable!
Have you maybe changed your payment instrument during that time to a russian one?

I dont know which sub to ask this in so sorry if this is not it but I have been getting in my suggested accounts all the people I dont follow who I have interacted with in the past; and one of my exes is always at the top, like hes the first person I see there when tiktok suggests any account, but I dont really look at his, maybe hes looking at mine a lot and thats the algorithm working? Because I don’t get it But my question is, if I had someone blocked who I interacted a lot with, will they get the my profile suggested that way now that theyre unblocked? Or more likely not to Because Im trying to get this person to see that I unblocked them without turning my profile views on and without following them
