My work mantras

Lol I used to work in TV news and department heads would freak the eff out over such silly, inconsequential things. Developed the mantra "Oh my God, it's just fucking TV"

“Someone else’s lack of planning isn’t my emergency” I wish I took that to heart when I worked my dream job instead of working unpaid OT because I wanted to do anything for it

As someone who owns their own open heart surgery business as the sole employee, this does nothing for me.

That keyboard is glorious.

I know the keyboard keys aren't candy but I still want to try them.

I constantly tell people where I work: we aren't first responders, firefighters, etc. nothing we do here is mission critical or life saving. Mistakes can be fixed and generally what can't be done today can wait until tomorrow. It'll be alright.
