That is a very terrified young Whitetail. I completely understand why that homeowner called animal control. And that was some pretty brutal treatment of that poor creature. Unfortunately, you never know what a wild animal is going to do. And though we can empathize with their emotions, there’s also the unpredictability of a wild creature. Those horns are grown for a reason. When they start to thrash, even though they’re small horns, they can still cause a good amount of damage.

Ultimately, It doesn’t look that little guy suffered any serious physical damage. I think he also learned that breaking into human homes is not a good idea.

They should have called animal control. Took it out of there pretty aggressively

No doubt the worst day of that deer's life.

I love the way wild animals look at you when they get into your house like: "what? It's mine now, and you're being very rude."
