Breaking the generational trauma

This is a brilliant idea. More of us could take the things that were problematic for us, and change its meaning for the next generation, but perhaps also for ourselves. Thank you!

This video reached the wrong auidence, people are calling out this Hispanic dad a "content whore" because he made one harmless video on breaking the parental violence trauma in ethnic families. I suffered from it and shared this vid in another community and it became a great vent space. It was nice to see people sharing their similar experiences and supporting each other, even finding comfort in seeing a dad turning such a traumatic experience into a pleasant bonding moment. Not every family posting with their children are "content whores who exploit their children" people. You're calling someone's loving dad a whore and creating gruesome fantasies to act like you care about child exploitation.

That's how I felt when I showed my family my dog. Ours would cower if you raised your hand. He just smiles and cocks his head back and forth wondering what you're doing 🥲 (they don't have dogs anymore)
