I can’t listen to influencers when they talk in this weird up and down tenor like they are the voice of the cinema.
The funniest part about these people and their 'strong beliefs' is that it's based on geography and who raised them, nothing else.
I don't know who explained relativity to this kid, but they missed sort of . . . all the parts. It has nothing to do with the beginning of the universe. It's about the nature of spacetime.
When I was in college I was in a philosophy 101 class and we had a Christian guy, a lot like this influencer, come to class and sit in a desk. When we started our normal class this kid just started antagonizing the professor who was trying to be nice and just talk about our assignment. The kid wouldn’t stop.
My professor spoke so softly and was such a nice person, but he made that kid doubt. He tailored his answers to this kids questions so succinctly that the kid became emotional and ran out. It wasn’t that the professor disproved the existence of god, but he did question all the kid’s assumptions in the way that everyone from his community didn’t, and it really shook him. And our class had people of faith, we had spoken about god and religion, and the class had a nice chuckle after he left and just kept on. I think about that all the time when this shit comes on.
Why does he look like he’s about to burst out crying?
"nothing needs a cause!" to describe god and then rounding out the end with "because it needs a cause! which is god!" is so annoying lol
Religion is literally mental illness. When you really think about it, the shit religious people believe is truly insane and goes against every rational thought. But you cant criticize it because that impolite.
They just lump atheism in with all the theories that challenge their belief system. It’s the exact amount of intellectual effort you’d expect from them.
Also, why does that guy look/sound like he’s constantly about to cry? Everything about the body language in his delivery makes me think he’s straining to believe the bullshit coming out of his mouth. A lot of Christians operate from the closet of non-belief.
Omg I love the “wrong”. Why does the original Tik toker speak with such an off affect and he looks like he’s about to burst into tears at any moment?
I usually ask these people, that if there is a god, then why do kids get born with cancer? Cause that means either god isn't real, or he's cruel/indifferent, and doesn't deserve praise.
Either way, I'll believe in something real, that actually does something. Like science.
